Nokia N95 8 GB Specifications
Released last year, this new mobile phone from Nokia is definitely an improvement from the one that came before it. Dubbed as the Nokia N95-2, this mobile phone has a lot of features similar to that of the original N95, but this time the people at Nokia saw it best to pump it up a notch higher. Below are the general specs of the N95 8GB.
Weight and Dimensions
This phone is slightly heavier compared to the first N95 and it is not a slim phone either. It comes in a slide out candy bar shape that measure 99×53x21 mm. The screen size is also slightly bigger than the first phone. Looking at it, the difference may not seem like much, but an actual look at the phone will reveal that it provides a better and much more striking display. The display is capable of carrying over 16 million colors.
Memory Capacity
The new Nokia N95 8 GB phone is capable of holding up to 8GBs of memory. The high memory capacity is perhaps the reason why the manufacturers did not attempt to include a memory slot with the phone. It has a 128MB SDRAM and an ARM 11 332 MHz processor.
Striking feature of this mobile include: a Symbian 9.2 OS operating system. It is capable of mobile messaging in the following formats: MMS, SMS, IM and Emailing. Games are also downloadable, although the phone has its own set of built in programs. The camera capacity is 5 megapixels with a Carl Zeiss lens that is capable of auto focus and has a built in flash.
Other attributes includes Bluetooth 2.0 technology, Wi-Fi, a Quad Band mobile phone with HSDPA support. It is also capable of having polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. It is equipped with an extra video camera for video calling too.
